As a maternity cover, you will take on a central hub function in the Presidium department of the City of Uster between department management, administration, politics, and external stakeholders. The position is limited from July 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027.

Your main tasks
- Assistance to the Presidium department management (appointment organization, minute taking, pending task control, organization of team events, creating reports and presentations, individual projects)
- Responsibility for vocational training and supervision of the commercial apprentices in the Presidium department
- Coordination of new hires and onboarding of new employees in the department
- First contact person (power user) for IT questions (office@work, CMI administrative software, etc.)
- Finance (account assignment of invoices and credit card receipts, creating invoices)
- Coordination, editing, and creation of city council and municipal council proposals.
- Coordination of the NPM annual report of the department (spring 2027)
- Administration of application processes (funding applications, service contracts)
- Responsibility for contract management of the Presidium department
- Administration and coordination of the city partnership with Prenzlau (Germany)
- Organization and allocation of the city’s F4-APG poster sites
- Support of the location promotion of the City of Uster in selected projects
What you bring with you
- Completed three-year commercial vocational training or equivalent education
- Several years of professional experience in the commercial field, administrative knowledge is an advantage
- Experience in creating editorial texts and enjoyment in precise writing
- Very good, stylistically confident, and error-free German
- Effortless and skilled handling of PC and MS Office programs
- Very independent, reliable, and precise working style
- Team-capable, positive, and implementation-strong personality
