The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety at CHUV is looking for an engineer / technician specialized in electrical engineering with an activity rate between 80% and 100% for an indefinite duration, to complete its team.

Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety at CHUV (CIT-S) has as its main activities the operation, maintenance, construction, engineering, technical assistance, and consulting within its extensive real estate portfolio of more than 250 buildings in the canton of Vaud.
CIT-S manages a very rich range of projects, including the reassignment and transformation of various spaces, the construction or modernization of laboratories, administrative areas, care facilities, meeting rooms, and many others.

Mission
- You develop studies and technical projects of medium to large scale, follow-up and realization
- You carry out maintenance and transformation work
- You manage the work of technical companies on construction sites
- You create technical plans for maintenance and transformation projects using CAD and BIM
- You write bids and public tenders
- You manage technical contractors
- You are the expert technical reference in your field
- You may be called upon to replace the engineering section head in your domain
- You prepare documents to ensure the application of current rules and directives
- You work in an environment subject to a Quality Management System.
Profile
- You hold a diploma as an engineer, technician, or designer specialized in electrical engineering
- You ideally have solid experience in the operation of electrical installations; experience in the hospital and/or pharmaceutical field would be a strong asset
- Technical knowledge related to hospital (or pharmaceutical) buildings as well as standards, laws, and regulations related to the professions also constitute a strong asset
- You demonstrate team spirit and personal willingness for self-training
- You master the main office and professional IT tools, as well as drawing (CAD, BIM) and project (MS-Project) software
