Production Supervisor
Shift Supervisor Manufacturing (80-100%)
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you are responsible in a 3-shift operation for the production of miniature circuit breakers (MCB) for compliance with process flows, specifications from work instructions, work plans, etc., as well as quality and safety standards, thus ensuring continuous production operation. In close cooperation with the department manager, you create an effective and efficient working environment.
Work Model: On-site
This role contributes to the Electrification division in Schaffhausen.
You are mainly responsible for:
Responsibility for managing capacities, resources, and personnel as well as compliance with safety, quality, and quantity requirements during the shift.
Acting as the central contact person for questions regarding processes and workflows and ensuring compliance with defined process standards.
Identifying improvement potentials in production processes and equipment as well as solution-oriented handling of technical, quality, and logistical challenges.
Motivating and further developing the team as well as actively collaborating with internal support areas to promote efficient information flow.
Qualifications for the Role
Completed technical training
Several years of experience in production or production-related areas
Initial experience in leading teams in production
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automated production lines
Experience with continuous improvement projects and lean management (e.g., KAIZEN, Lean Six Sigma)
Quick comprehension and resilience combined with strong teamwork skills
Fluent German language skills in speaking and writing, English skills are an advantage
Willingness to work in shift operation (currently 3-shift, possibly Saturday)
High level of integration and assertiveness
ERP knowledge (SAP)
