About the job
For the Central Switzerland region, VOLG is looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
You will enjoy these tasks
- Leading employees by example, open communication, and constructive feedback
- Implementing the strategy, mission statement, and concept of the Volg Group together with store management
- Responsibility for the economic management of the assigned sales outlets according to internal guidelines
- Planning personnel requirements, recruiting, and onboarding new employees and apprentices in cooperation with HR
- Promoting training and further education, skills development, and talent promotion according to Volg Academy
- Supporting store managers and trainees, including probationary and employee discussions
- Monitoring working hours per sales outlet and regularly reviewing goals and measures
We look forward to this profile
- Completed retail training with a Federal Certificate of Competence (preferably in food or related industry)
- Further training as a retail trainer, retail specialist, or comparable qualification
- Experience in retail, ideally in the food sector
- First leadership experience and enthusiasm for promoting employees
- Expertise in retail and business management understanding
- Good MS Office skills and efficient work and time management
- High sense of responsibility, confident appearance, and strong communication skills
- Team- and conflict-capable, independent, reliable, flexible, and resilient
- Very good German skills; French is an advantage
