For its Mex site, Switzerland, BOBST is looking for its future Industrialization and Methods Key User Technician (M/F).
The Industrialization and Methods Key User Technician reports to the Lean Manager.
This is a permanent contract with a starting date to be agreed upon.
The Industrialization and Methods Key User Technician ensures, within their area of expertise, the product manufacturing conditions, the organization of the production tool, and the management of the product throughout its life cycle.
Description of significant activities:
- Set work standards (Assembly and Testing), set and maintain the manufacturing time reference (Added Value and Cycle).
- Implement workstations and operational means.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation.
- Design and order equipment and tooling.
- Enter business parameters into the ERP (Manufacturing Bills of Materials, Routing, Workstations).
- Respond to operational issues and process requests with the Design Office.
- Be an actor in the ECM process (product evolution management), intervene in work reserves, and be an actor in the PDP process (new product development plan).
- Lead continuous improvement projects and/or, depending on experience, represent their sector within new product development teams (intermediate knowledge of the PDP process and basic knowledge of the PMP process).
- Collaborate with various production departments as well as other BOBST production sites.
Key User:
Responsibilities held:
- Execute Acceptance (UAT) and Non-Regression (NRT) tests during system changes within their area of expertise.
- Deploy system evolutions within their business sector.
- Provide first-level support to colleagues in their sector.
- Train new employees and keep training materials up to date.
Is responsible for:
- Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM).
- Manufacturing routings (time, sequence of work operations, component assignment).
- Implementation of time study and balancing methodologies.
- Definition of workstations (layout, ergonomics, 5S, tooling).
- Authoring tools and business methodologies (eDoc, Avix).
- Creation and maintenance of business instructions (QMS).
- Preparation of technical files for production.
- Maintenance of the factory layout plan and the industrial capacity modeling tool.
Skills (Knowledge, know-how)
- Methods business skills.
- Skills in certain authoring tools (CATIA, E3, AVIX...).
- General mechanical skills (functional dimensioning, blueprint reading, tolerancing...).
- Basic electrical and pneumatic knowledge (schematic reading, component identification, etc.).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Office Suite, SAP.
Profile (Education/Experience)
Technical ES level in Mechanics, Electrical, Industrial, Electrotechnics.
