The Fairmont Spa, a true haven of peace in the heart of the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, offers its clients a unique wellness experience thanks to modern facilities and exceptional treatments carried out in collaboration with the prestigious brands Biologique Recherche and Swiss Perfection Montreux.

As a Fairmont Spa maintenance attendant, you play a crucial role in maintaining this exceptional environment. Your mission goes far beyond simple cleanliness: you are an essential actor in the well-being of our clients.

Thanks to your rigor and attention to detail, you contribute to creating an impeccable and harmonious setting, conducive to relaxation and rest. You also ensure that our equipment and spaces remain functional and welcoming at all times, allowing our guests to fully enjoy their experience!

Summary of responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Fairmont Spa, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:     

• Consistently providing professional, friendly, and engaging service,
• Performing housekeeping maintenance throughout the Fairmont Spa,
• Maintaining the entire Fairmont Spa in an impeccable state of cleanliness,
• Maintaining optimal sanitary conditions of the facility at all times and reporting any lack of materials,
• Knowing and applying the technical and emotional standards of LQA,
• Keeping the changing rooms orderly and ensuring all equipment is stored,
• Ensuring the cleanliness and daily maintenance of the pool and changing rooms,
• Periodically updating the stock of linens entering and leaving the laundry,
• Managing stocks and placing orders for cleaning and comfort products made available to clients,
• Preparing rooms for treatments according to specific instructions,
• Assisting members and guests in using the sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, etc.,
• Helping other Spa departments when activity in Maintenance/Fitness is quiet,
• Committing to the quality of your service, discretion, and perfect honesty,
• Maintaining excellent contact with your colleagues,
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualification

• Being a woman (due to access to women's changing rooms)
• Fluency in French
• Knowledge of English
• Previous customer service experience
• Knowledge of German, Russian, or Arabic is an asset
• First aid/CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) certificate preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Particularly responsible and reliable
• Good presentation
• Ability to take initiative
• Adaptability
• Good physical condition

Physical aspects of the position:

• Frequent: lifting and carrying loads
• Frequent: kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting
• Occasional: climbing up or down ladders, stairs, and ramps

VISA REQUIREMENTS

To be able to work in Switzerland, the candidate must possess a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
