Job Description
ICS Lab Technician We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lab Technician to join our Semiconductor Test Development Laboratory. In this role, you will support test development, chip characterization, and qualification activities for mass production. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining test equipment, ensuring laboratory reliability, and providing hands-on support to engineering teams in a high-tech environment.
Your Responsibilities
Prepare, operate, and maintain test systems for semiconductor device characterization, qualification, and test program validation. Set up, configure, and verify measurement instruments, handlers, and probers. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on test and support equipment. Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards for monitoring and measurement resources. Organize and manage spare parts, consumables, and lab inventory. Keep documentation up to date, including maintenance logs, equipment control plans, and test records. Ensure compliance with SUVA safety regulations, ESD protection, and lab security standards. Maintain a clean, structured, and efficient laboratory environment. Support test engineers in experiment setup, data collection, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with engineering, reliability, and production teams to ensure smooth lab operations and continuous improvement.
Your Skills and Experience
Completed technician education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Practical experience in semiconductor testing, electronics labs, or ATE (Automated Test Equipment) environments. Familiar with semiconductor test development, characterization, and qualification processes. Knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems and SUVA safety standards. Strong technical and analytical skills, with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset. Experience with test instruments such as oscilloscopes, SMUs, and power supplies is an advantage. Reliable, precise, and capable of working independently and in a team. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
