At Ristorante Camino, under the motto "l’arte della cucina italiana," pasta or risotto variations, meat and fish dishes, as well as traditional wood-fired pizza are served. The selection of Italian wines and drinks rounds off the offer. Hotel guests enjoy their breakfast and dinner here. The venue offers space for around 110 guests in the restaurant area and about 60 guests in the Camino Bar/Lounge. Additionally, various catering and banquets are offered from Ristorante Camino.
As Deputy Head Chef, you are responsible for the operational management of the kitchen at Ristorante Camino and represent the Head Chef Gastronomie rocksresort in his absence. With your commitment, creativity, and attention to detail, you ensure that our guests experience unforgettable moments of enjoyment.
- Creative preparation: You prepare our à-la-carte dishes with passion, highest precision, and attention to detail at a high level.
- Quality management: You monitor the freshness and quality of the ingredients and ensure an appealing and consistent presentation of the dishes.
- Operational kitchen management: You coordinate the work processes in the kitchen, ensure smooth operations, and support compliance with cleanliness and order.
- Representation: Representing the Head Chef Gastronomie rocksresort during his absence.
- Menu and event planning: You actively participate in the development and implementation of special menus, themed evenings, and special promotions.
- Mise en place & follow-up: You ensure optimal preparation of the workstations and proper follow-up of your area.
- Hygiene & occupational safety: You ensure compliance with all relevant quality, hygiene, and safety standards (HACCP).
- Team leadership & collaboration: You work closely with the kitchen and service teams, support staff training, and promote a motivated, harmonious working atmosphere.
- Training of apprentices: Together with the Head Chef Gastronomie rocksresort, you are responsible for training the apprentice cooks EFZ.
- Solid experience: You have completed training as a cook EFZ or equivalent qualification and already have extensive experience in a professional à la carte kitchen.
- Passion and commitment: You are passionate about your profession, bring creativity and team spirit, and want to share your passion within the team.
- Resilience & flexibility: Even in hectic phases, you remain calm, take responsibility, and adapt flexibly to new challenges.
- Language skills: Very good German skills are a matter of course for you; English skills are an advantage – additional foreign languages are welcome.
- Independence & attention to detail: You work in a structured, responsible manner and do not lose sight of important details even under pressure.
