Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Educator at eHnv
We are looking for an educator at an 80% activity rate, from December 1, 2025 to November 30, 2026, for the hospital child and adolescent psychiatry unit located on the Yverdon site of the Northern Vaud Hospital Establishments (eHnv).
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
This position is to be refilled within our hospital child and adolescent psychiatry unit (5 beds), located on the Yverdon site of the Northern Vaud Hospital Establishments (eHnv). This position offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team and to develop skills and creativity with young people aged 3 to 16 years, in crisis or presenting a psychiatric pathology requiring acute care.
Mission
- You ensure educational work in the context of a hospital child and adolescent psychiatric care unit in a multi-professional collaboration
- You promote the exchange and sharing of information concerning socio-educational care modalities
- You lead and co-lead various daily life activities
- You contribute to the creation of new development projects for the unit through participation in meetings or team supervisions
- You support the care unit in the evenings and on weekends.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor of Science as a specialized educator (or an equivalent title, as well as SEFRI recognition for foreign diplomas, imperative)
- Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry is desired
- You are an autonomous and creative person, with strong relational skills with children, excellent integration capacity within a multidisciplinary team, as well as good communication and organizational skills.
