You don’t just take over performance operationally, but strategically.
Amazon is not an isolated channel for you, but a complex ecosystem along the entire customer journey. You think in full-funnel logics, work data-driven, and have the ambition to systematically scale international marketplace activities.
As Performance Marketing Manager Marketplaces, you bear overall responsibility for our marketplace advertising activities. The focus is on Amazon, while we simultaneously advance our international expansion on platforms such as Galaxus, Decathlon, Bol, or Otto.
The role is fully in-house. Our goal: to sustainably anchor expertise, ownership, and strategic development within the team.
You work closely with eCommerce, brand marketing, and the search team to optimally leverage synergies with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You take strategic and operational responsibility for all Amazon Ads activities.
- You further develop a holistic full-funnel strategy – including DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).
- You scale international marketplace campaigns in existing and new markets.
- You are responsible for budget planning, forecasting, and controlling key KPIs such as ROAS, TACOS, and new customer share.
- You develop systematic testing and scaling approaches for targeting, bidding strategies, and ad formats.
- You use Amazon Marketing Cloud for data-based optimization of audience strategies.
- You work closely with the eCommerce team to continuously develop product detail pages with a performance focus.
- You establish transparent reporting structures and derive concrete, actionable growth recommendations.
Your Profile
- You bring several years of experience in performance marketing with a clear focus on Amazon Ads.
- You have a deep understanding of full-funnel strategies within Amazon (including DSP and AMC).
- You have experience in the international scaling of campaigns.
- You possess pronounced expertise in budget control, forecasting, and KPI management.
- You work analytically, structured, and data-driven.
- You have experience coordinating with other performance channels such as Google or Microsoft Ads.
- You have very good German and English skills.
- You think entrepreneurially, take ownership, and have the ambition to build sustainable in-house performance structures.
