Marketing DACH Employee - Retail Marketing Specialist 100% (m/f/d)
From February 1, 2026 or by arrangement
Your main tasks
- You make marketing tangible: Leading the implementation of retail marketing activities in your area for key accounts and IBDs – from campaign rollouts to content and POS materials to coaching dealers. Together with important partners, you develop Trek marketing plans and find smart ways for joint actions, always in line with brand guidelines, ROI, and inventory.
- Your network, your stage: You are the central contact person for store managers (SMs), district managers (DMs), territory managers, and the marketing team. Regular on-site visits are part of it to strengthen relationships and get marketing actions rolling.
- Local requests? You review and process all marketing requests from your area and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- You conduct quarterly marketing reviews for each store – focusing on measures that boost customer frequency and sales.
- Lead-list champion: You know our lead-list system for the most important customers, coach dealers in its use, and promote the use of the tool.
- You manage and activate local ambassador programs in coordination with the stores, maintain relationships with our brand ambassadors, and bring the bike community together.
- Market expert for DACH: You are the contact person for media and brand partnerships and support product launches.
- Trek University: You keep our internal training platform alive and ensure engagement.
DOTS specific tasks
- You develop an annual marketing plan for each DOTS that uses budgets cleverly and delivers maximum impact.
- You keep an eye on local marketing budgets – always within the agreed framework.
- You are responsible for the process of organic social media activities and advise our dealers if needed.
- You help expand local CRM measures such as mailing lists and create relevant communication content aligned with the marketing strategy.
Job profile
As a Retail Marketing Specialist, you are the first contact person for all DOTS (Direct Owned Trek Stores) in your region and for our network of IBDs (Independent Bicycle Dealers). Your mission: marketing planning and implementation that not only looks good but really makes an impact – more awareness, more customers in the store, and ultimately more bikes on the road. Together with the marketing manager, you ensure that the best ideas from the DOTS also reach the broader dealer network.
- Completed studies in marketing, business administration, communication, or a similar field.
- Professional experience in retail marketing, key account management, or sales – ideally in the bicycle industry or a comparable technical consumer goods environment.
- Experience in online marketing, especially in social media, newsletter communication, website maintenance as well as campaign planning and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills: interpretation of key figures, derivation of measures, and creation of meaningful reports.
- High organizational skills and confident multitasking in a dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to travel within the D-A-CH region to support and activate trade partners.
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage.
What we offer you
- A versatile and responsible area of work in a dynamic, international environment.
- An owner-managed company with Great Place to Work certification.
- Modern work equipment and an inspiring work environment.
- Possibility for up to 2 days of home office per week
- Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and a motivated, open team.
- Attractive Trek benefits, discounts, and development opportunities.
- A corporate culture that promotes diversity, sustainability, and team spirit
