To strengthen our team in the retail sector, we are looking for a motivated and committed Head of Facility Management, 100%, at the Basel headquarters starting December 1, 2025.
Your responsibilities
- You bear overall responsibility for the central control, maintenance, and upkeep of 56 department stores in all language regions of Switzerland
- You monitor and optimize all facility management contracts (cleaning, maintenance, services) including SLA controlling and supplier management
- You develop and implement cross-location strategies and investment plans to increase efficiency and preserve the value of our real estate portfolio
- You represent Manor in centralized energy procurement and drive cost optimization programs to increase operational efficiency
- You build KPI and reporting structures to ensure sustainable success control
- You lead the facility management department (approx. 15 employees) both professionally and personally, including budget responsibility
- You promote a performance-oriented team culture, plan resources purposefully, and develop your team in the long term
- You are responsible for tenders, contract design, as well as the creation and management of complex budgets
Your profile
- You have a technical basic education in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitation (HVAC) or electrical installation and have further training in facility management or building technology
- You bring at least 8 years of experience in facility management, including at least 5 years managing multiple locations and several years in leadership responsibility
- You know the Swiss fire protection regulations (VKF/AEAI) and can apply them confidently
- You have experience in leading strategic and technical projects and are skilled in project management
- You know the main suppliers and service providers in the industry, convince with your communication skills, and find pragmatic and efficient solutions for complex challenges
- You can develop and communicate a strategic vision and understand how to motivate your team and lead it to top performance
- You communicate confidently in German and French; English is an advantage
- You are mobile within Switzerland and bring the necessary flexibility for regular site visits
