Assistant Physician<br/>Forensic Medicine (m/f/d) 100%

The Institute of Forensic Medicine (IRM) provides, as a university institute, forensic medical services for the city and canton of Bern as well as for other catchment areas, alongside teaching and research.
In the Department of Forensic Medicine and Imaging, in addition to the classical methods of forensic medicine for case processing, various imaging methods (CT, MRI, 3D surface scanning) are also used. To complement the team, we are looking for an assistant physician.

• Participation in forensic medical services (including on-call duty, attending crime scenes, locations where bodies are found, and physical examinations)
• Co-responsibility for autopsies, legal inspections, and physical examinations
• Co-responsibility in drafting expert reports and documents
• Participation in the institute's teaching activities

• Swiss medical diploma or an equivalent foreign qualification recognized by MEBEKO and interest in forensic issues
• A careful and precise working style as well as ability to work in a team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in German (native language)
• Driver's license for cars
