The Zurich University of Teacher Education actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Primary Level Department is responsible for the training of primary school teachers for school years 1-5 (kindergarten and lower primary level).
The office of the Primary Level Department is responsible for the organization and administration of the primary level study programs (kindergarten and lower primary level).
Your responsibilities.
- Independent administration, organization, and planning of the kindergarten and lower primary level study program with a focus on practical training
- Participation in practical vocational training as well as in the office
- Assistance in organizing and conducting practical vocational events
- Communication, contact, and advising with/from students as well as with colleagues from practical vocational training
- Cooperation and networking, especially collaboration with lecturers and external experts from the school field
- Diverse collaboration with study organization, co-study program leaders, department heads, and colleagues in the office
Your profile.
- Commercial training and further education and qualification
- Preferably professional experience in the education sector or public sector
- Very good IT user skills and ease in handling various software (MS Office; SharePoint and university administration software Evento are an advantage)
- Confident and university-appropriate German language skills, both written and spoken
- Organizational talent, structured working methods, and enjoyment in dealing with institutional processes and structures
- Agile, resilient, and proactive personality
- High communication skills, solution orientation, and service orientation
- High independence and enjoyment of working in a motivated, cooperative, and collegial small team
Desired working days: Tuesday and Thursday on site, one additional day or two half days home office
