Clerk: Special Education Administration (80 – 100 %)
The school office supports the schools and the school board of the city of Winterthur in fulfilling their diverse tasks. The special education administration is a central hub in the special school sector and provides a variety of services for different stakeholders. In this versatile administrative role, you will take on varied tasks in the field of special education and support the processes in the special education context. We are looking for a committed, responsible, and independent person to start immediately or by arrangement.Your Tasks
- Assuming administrative (coordination) tasks in the field of special education, including financial administration and accounting, transport organization, and correspondence
- Supporting the special education department with administrative and organizational tasks, including taking minutes of parent meetings, performing administrative services, and independently handling assigned matters
- Preparing decisions regarding special education measures as well as preparing the corresponding documents for the special education committee, including follow-up of matters
- Ensuring structured data filing as well as maintaining and managing electronic student files in the field of special education
Your Profile
- Commercial basic training with professional experience in the school environment, ideally with a certificate as school administration specialist VPZS/SIB
- Very good IT user skills in MS Office, preferably experience with Abacus and Pupil (school administration software)
- Confident oral and written expression as well as interest in legal and special education issues
- Team-oriented, socially competent personality with enjoyment in dealing with different stakeholders
- Resilient and flexible regarding working hours during the school year
