The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. For its acute geriatrics and rehabilitation unit on the Monthey site, the medical department is advertising the position of:

Head of Clinic or Deputy Head of Clinic at 80%-100%

The main responsibilities of this position are

• Ensure patient care, in collaboration with the chief physicians
• Participate in the supervision and training of assistant physicians
• Participate in the on-call rotation

We require

• A federal medical diploma or a diploma issued by an EU member state and recognized by the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO) or recognition by postgraduate training institutions IFSM in Switzerland
• Advanced training in general internal medicine (FMH title or in the process of obtaining it)
• Experience in geriatrics and/or palliative care and/or in a treatment and rehabilitation center would be a plus
• An open and dynamic personality, eager to learn and integrate into the existing team and collaborate with senior and accredited physicians from other departments
