What to expect
- You take full P&L responsibility and manage the performance of your assortments (Fitness & Wellbeing) including sales, margin, and budget control, consistently implementing strategic and operational goals
- Analysis of market and consumer trends to specifically develop the assortment portfolio further as well as evaluation, selection, and integration of new manufacturers and suppliers to strengthen competitiveness
- You are responsible for independently negotiating terms and framework agreements with manufacturers and suppliers. In doing so, you ensure the establishment and maintenance of efficient sourcing channels – always with a focus on quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness
- Identification, development, and support of existing and new distribution partners (B2B & B2C) – in close coordination with the sales team
- You take responsibility in the area of data management and article maintenance: This includes obtaining and maintaining master data, initiating and accompanying the article opening process, and ensuring data quality across all sales channels. Additionally, you are responsible for the correct processing of manufacturer invoices and create relevant reports for control and management
- Co-responsibility for defining key communication focuses and their implementation in close coordination with marketing and sales
- Coordination of relevant interfaces as a link and contact person between internal departments such as sales, marketing, purchasing, and accounting as well as external partners
- Implementation and continuous optimization of the pricing strategy across all sales channels
What you bring
- A completed commercial training with further education in product management, marketing, or purchasing or alternatively a bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in business-related fields
- Several years of professional experience (2–3 years) in product management, category management, or purchasing – ideally in the e-commerce environment or in the sports or health industry
- Solid experience in analyzing assortments, key figures, and market trends as well as deriving targeted measures
- Experience in working with suppliers and manufacturers including negotiation skills as well as confident handling of master data maintenance, ERP systems, and MS Office
- Experience in applying cross-channel pricing and marketing strategies
- You communicate fluently in German and have good English skills
- Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking, strong numerical understanding, and a structured, independent working style combined with communication skills, team orientation, resilience, and a passion for sports and digital commerce
