About the job
Your tasks- •Operate CMM machines to inspect parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- •Perform dimensional inspections and verify tolerances using CMM and other precision measuring tools.
- •Interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and technical documentation preferred not mandatory.
- •Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare detailed reports for quality assurance.
- •Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis.
- •Ensure calibration and proper functioning of CMM equipment.
- •Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
- •Adhere to safety and quality standards in all inspection activities.
- •Prepare metallurgical samples through cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, etching.
- •Perform microstructural examinations using optical microscopy or digital imaging systems.
- •Other duties as required.
Your profile
- •High school diploma or equivalent required; understanding of hand tools: band saw, rivet machine, polisher, CNC machine and UTM.
- •1+ years of experience in a metallurgical, materials testing, or quality laboratory environment.
- •Knowledge of ISO/AS, IATF and VDA quality standards preferred.
