In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Labor (AFA) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. The labor market policy competencies are bundled in the AFA. Around 600 employees work at over 20 locations. The Unemployment Insurance (ALV) department of the AFA ensures uniform enforcement of the federal law on mandatory ALV and insolvency compensation at the cantonal level.
To strengthen the existing team, we are looking for a committed personality from February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Independent preparation of objection decisions
- Conducting the necessary legal clarifications
- Obtaining the relevant documents
- Obtaining information from the RAV, unemployment insurance funds, employers, and other offices
- Drafting statements within the framework of the appeal procedure before the Social Insurance Court of the Canton of Zurich
- Support in reviewing sanction reports and in drafting dismissal orders
Your profile:
- 3-year commercial basic training, combined with experience in (social) insurance law
- Preferably completed further training as a social insurance specialist with a federal certificate
- Very proficient user knowledge in MS Office
- Precise expression and good editorial skills
- Logical-analytical thinking ability and efficient working method
- Skilled interaction with various stakeholders
