The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To strengthen the team in place in the Outpatient Pulmonology Unit, we are looking for a:
Nurse / Technician in Pulmonary Function Testing 60%-80%
In close collaboration with the pulmonology unit physicians, you ensure the proper functioning of the pulmonary function testing laboratory as well as the quality and safety of the services provided.
The main responsibilities of this position are

Ensure the proper functioning of the pulmonary function testing laboratory as well as the quality and safety of the services.

Strictly apply standardized procedures for conducting examinations and contribute to the continuous improvement of care processes.

Prepare, check, and maintain equipment, ensure their proper use, and manage stocks of materials and medications.

Organize and coordinate patient appointments in collaboration with the secretariat, ensure billing of procedures, and update care records.

Plan your activities in close collaboration with pulmonologists.

Promote a culture of safety by participating in the reporting of adverse events and feedback.

Contribute to the supervision and training of new staff within a quality and skills transfer approach.
We require
-
HES diploma in nursing, or equivalent title recognized by CRS.

Training in pulmonary functions (Swiss Lung League or equivalent) or commitment to undertake it.

Proven experience in managing pulmonary diseases and respiratory conditions is an asset.

Proficiency in standard office tools (MS Office) and hospital software.

Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.

Strict adherence to standards, procedures, legal framework, and ethical principles.

Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and organizational skills in your work.

Team spirit, good communication skills, and patient reception.
