What you will do here
- Identify exciting topics inside and outside BFH, tell authentic stories, and convey BFH's messages precisely tailored to the target audience
- Observe and analyze social, societal, economic, and political developments in assigned topic areas and leverage opportunities for agenda surfing
- Develop and coordinate communication measures, campaigns, and concepts and implement them in line with the strategy
- Communicatively manage the assigned topic areas, advise colleagues professionally on communication matters, and represent their needs in the BFH newsroom
- Take on additional communication projects and assigned tasks in day-to-day business
What you ideally bring
- University degree in communication or journalism with further training in these or related fields
- Strong flair for the art of storytelling, skilled in research and editing
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form as well as good French and English skills
- High degree of self-organization, clear stance, and sense for good collaboration
- Fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to engage deeply in complex topic areas, effectively advance topics inside and outside the newsroom, and shape our team with heart and conviction
