Specialist in Food Production 40% (Night Shift), Temporary Maternity Cover

For a maternity cover in production, we are immediately looking for a gastronomy-experienced specialist from the areas of bakery & preparation/kitchen/gastronomy, temporarily for the night shift.

The St. Jakob Foundation in Zurich offers around 450 people with disabilities protected workplaces and day structures. The employees are guided at work by 150 specialists. 

These are your versatile tasks

• Alternating and independent management of the various stations in the bakery & preparation team
• Independent production of our high-quality bakery products 
• Ensuring qualitative, quantitative, and timely production
• Continuous control and monitoring of economic efficiency
• Adhering to and continuously improving our quality standards
• Supporting, accompanying, and promoting our employees in the protected environment during work execution
• Complying with and implementing hygiene guidelines

This is what you bring with you

• Experience as a baker - confectioner (min. 2 years) or as a cook, career changers also possible 
• Gastronomy experience desirable
• Quick comprehension and good professional knowledge
• You are an entrepreneurial thinking and loyal person
• Flexibility, resilience, tolerance, and a pronounced sense of order and cleanliness
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Impeccable reputation

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:45 a.m. (with occasional weekend shifts).
