Design and Visual Arts Domain
The Design and Visual Arts domain of HES-SO brings together four universities of applied sciences – ECAL, EDHEA, HEAD-Geneva, and HE-ARC. It offers training in Visual Arts, Cinema, Visual Communication, Interior Architecture, Industrial Design, or Conservation, and places great emphasis on research and experimentation linked to the socio-economic and cultural context.
Your missions
Placed under the responsibility and strategic leadership of a steering committee bringing together the heads of the Cinema Departments of ECAL and HEAD, the management of the two universities of applied sciences, and the head of the design and visual arts domain, your mission will be to coordinate the transformation of the Master in Cinema by ensuring pedagogical relevance, alignment with professional expectations, and integration of new technological and societal trends. You will lead collaborative work involving the concerned universities of applied sciences and professional environments.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising, in connection with the client, a new study of labor and training needs in the sector and identifying the skills required by professional environments, taking into account technological evolution (AI) and economic and societal dynamics.
Finally, in addition to your regular work with HEAD and ECAL, particularly their respective management, the heads of Cinema training programs, and their teams, you will be brought to work alongside professionals in the field (associations, artists, technicians, etc.).
