2 Public Prosecutors
Public Prosecutor's Office | 80-100% | Chur or Thusis
The Public Prosecutor's Office with its 71 employees is a functionally and materially independent body of criminal justice. It conducts criminal investigations against adults and juveniles in cases of crimes, offenses, and violations and is responsible for enforcing the state's criminal claims. The main office of the Public Prosecutor's Office is located in Chur. It has branches in Davos, Ilanz, Roveredo, Samedan, and Thusis.
We are looking for two public prosecutors for the Public Prosecutor's Office starting August 1, 2026, or November 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility
- Independently conducting criminal investigations in cases of crimes, offenses, and violations
- Issuing penal orders, subsequent decisions, and dismissal orders
- Representing the prosecution in court.
- Processing national and international legal assistance requests
- Performing on-call duty
What we expect from you
- Completed law degree, preferably with a qualification as a lawyer and professional experience in criminal prosecution
- Independent decision-making and taking responsibility
- Team-oriented, discreet, and collegial personality with high flexibility and resilience, working independently, reliably, and efficiently
- Impeccable reputation
- Proficiency in German, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages (preferably Italian) is an advantage
- Confident use of common IT tools
- Additional language skills
