Production Assistant
About Diamond
DIAMOND SA is a Swiss company with a long tradition, specializing for over 40 years in the development, production, and assembly of high-precision fiber optic components, which are sold worldwide. For our headquarters in Losone, we are looking for a Production Assistant to start immediately or at a date to be agreed upon.
Your main tasks
Working in the Production department, the Production Assistant will support the Production Manager with the following responsibilities:
- supporting the verification and optimization of internal processes, introducing actions aimed at improvement and efficiency in both component production and packaging lines
- collaborating with the Industrialization department in monitoring and validating new processes, both in the event of changes and during the introduction of new products into production or packaging
- contributing to the analysis and resolution of quality issues in the manufacturing process
- coordinating maintenance activities, staff training, and continuous improvement projects
- ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Your profile
- Federal Certificate of Competence as a Polymechanic AFC or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in a similar role and/or higher education (SSS or SUP technician)
- Solid knowledge of mechanics and manufacturing processes
- Good IT skills
- Reliability, autonomy, and analytical skills
- Good command of national languages
