About the job
We are looking for a Head of Engineering passionate about innovation and equipped with strong management skills. By developing special machines for our clients, you will be responsible for leading and supervising our team of engineers. This role, both operational and managerial, will offer you the opportunity to directly contribute to the design and realization of technical solutions while ensuring the effective management of your department.
Design special machines for client projects, based on the sales document and the client's specifications.
Lead and supervise a team of mechanical designers, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment while ensuring the professional development of each member.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Continuously analyze and improve design and production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Provide pragmatic and innovative solutions to technical challenges encountered, using a structured and data-driven approach.
Efficiently allocate material, human, and financial resources to maximize productivity and achieve departmental objectives.
Work closely with other departments (projects, electrical, software, industrialization, etc.) to ensure the seamless integration of mechanical systems into finished products.
Stay informed of technological advances and best practices in mechanical engineering to maintain the company's competitiveness.
Ensure all projects comply with current regulations and safety standards, while integrating environmental and sustainable requirements.
Profile
Degree in mechanical engineering, electromechanics, automation, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the special machinery or food industry sector.
Strong knowledge in mechanical design, automation, and robotics.
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
Excellent communication skills, organizational sense, rigor, proactivity, and team spirit.
Proven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and human resources.
