Chappuis Restaurants Sàrl is an independent McDonald’s franchise, firmly established in the region, with 7 McDonald’s restaurants located on the Vaud Riviera and in part of Valais. For our Collombey restaurant, we are looking for a motivated system catering apprentice with a Federal VET Diploma to join the adventure starting August 1, 2026.
Desired profile:
• You have completed your compulsory schooling
• You have a good knowledge of French (spoken and written)
• You appreciate the dynamic environment of catering
• You have an excellent team spirit, enjoy working with others and being in contact with guests
• You are stress-resistant and readily lend a hand
• You like taking responsibility while keeping an overview, even in the most stressful situations
• You have a quick comprehension ability and easily recognize cause-and-effect relationships
• You have some affinity for numbers
• Cleanliness and order come naturally to you

Field of activity
As a system catering apprentice with a Federal VET Diploma, a thorough, structured, and very varied training awaits you within our McDonald’s restaurant of our franchise. You will gradually discover all the essential aspects of the profession, both on the ground and at the organizational level. During your apprenticeship, you will learn to work in the kitchen and service, respecting quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
You will also develop skills in work organization, process management, and cost control. Over time, you will also become aware of team management and supervision, a key element of system catering. Your practical training in the restaurant is complemented by theoretical training at the vocational school, where you will acquire the necessary basics. Inter-company courses strengthen and consolidate your practical and theoretical knowledge to offer you a complete and recognized training.
Your Federal VET Diploma marks the first step in your professional career at McDonald’s. After your apprenticeship, many opportunities for further training, internal or external, are available to you. Thanks to the experience gained directly in our restaurants, you will have a real asset to progress, whether towards positions of responsibility or other specializations in system catering.
