For our client, an established construction company in the Biel region, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an experienced crane operator (m/f/d, 100%) for a temporary assignment on exciting construction sites.

Job Profile

In this responsible position, you independently operate and control cranes, making a central contribution to the success of the construction site. Your tasks include:

The safe operation of top-slewing or luffing jib cranes – either by radio or from the cabin, depending on the construction site.

Supporting the construction team in lifting, positioning, and moving building materials.

Assisting with general construction work when necessary to ensure workflow.

Daily inspection and simple maintenance work on the crane to keep the machines always ready for use.

Strict adherence to all safety regulations and internal guidelines.

Close collaboration with foremen, machine operators, and construction workers to ensure smooth site operations.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role as a temporary crane operator (100%) in the Biel region, you bring the following qualifications:

A valid SUVA-recognized crane operator license (Category B).

Several years of professional experience on Swiss construction sites and confident handling of various crane types.

A responsible, independent, and precise working style.

Team spirit, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing construction site environments.

Good German skills for communication on the construction site; additional language skills are an advantage.

Ideally, you also hold a Category B driving license.
