Job Description
To strengthen our team in Zurich, we are looking for committed construction economists (m/f/d) who enjoy supporting demanding real estate projects and competently advising our clients in all project phases.
Your tasks include:
- Advising and supporting our renowned international and regional clients on new construction and renovation projects in the areas of office, hotel, retail space, industry (e.g., pharma, data centers), and residential construction.
- Preparation and control of cost planning, cost estimates, and profitability analyses based on the BKP / e-BKP-H structure.
- Coordination and execution of tendering and awarding processes as well as the review of contractor offers.
- Accompanying and controlling costs throughout the entire project duration, including change management and reporting.
- Close collaboration with clients, planners, and project participants in all phases – from project development to realization.
- Assuming the role of client representative with responsibility for quality, deadlines, and costs.
Qualifications
- Completed studies in construction economics, architecture, civil engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in construction economics, site management, client representation, construction cost planning, or project management is an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of SIA standards as well as the BKP / e-BKP-H structure.
- Initial experience or interest in the tendering and awarding process.
- Confident handling of common tools (MS Office, MS Project) and ideally construction cost tools.
- Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English.
- Independent, structured working style and enjoyment of working in international, interdisciplinary teams.
