Our hospital in the canton of Uri (Switzerland) ensures an extended basic care for the region and adjacent areas with around 38,500 inhabitants through its comprehensive range of services and offers high-quality medical and nursing care.

The Internal Medicine Clinic of the Cantonal Hospital Uri operates around 50 acute beds. We care for more than 1700 inpatients and more than 2400 outpatients annually with empathy and competence. Over 90% of hospitalizations are emergency admissions.

WHAT AWAITS YOU

In a motivated and committed team, you will contribute to the lively operation of a regional and active hospital. The focus areas of our Internal Medicine Clinic are gastroenterology, cardiology, oncology, nephrology, neurology, infectiology, emergency medicine, and intensive care medicine. Angiology, pneumology, and radiology are covered by consulting physicians. We place great importance on the training of our assistant doctors, which is regularly confirmed in the evaluation of our training center. In addition, we teach the basics of sonography.

OUR OFFER

As a category B training center, the position is suitable for applicants for basic training for 2 years in General Internal Medicine or as an external year. One to two years of clinical prior experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
