About the job
The Grand Hôtel Roi René**** Aix en Provence Mgallery is looking for its future Front Desk Manager. Position available immediately on a permanent contract.
Under the responsibility of the front desk manager, you work in a stimulating environment and act as the link between the front desk team and management to ensure impeccable service quality.
Responsibilities
- Supervision & Management: Assist the Front Desk Manager in administrative and managerial duties. Supervise the front desk team, organize tasks according to checklists, maintain a good working atmosphere, motivate the team, and ensure proper presentation of staff and areas.
- Reception & Service Quality: Ensure quality customer reception, oversee the organization of arrivals/departures, handle complaints, guarantee customer satisfaction, and encourage positive online reviews.
- Procedures & Standards: Apply and enforce brand standards, safety rules, internal procedures, and pricing policy.
- Operational Monitoring & Management: Supervise cash handling, control cash registers and financial reports. Ensure achievement of service objectives (quality, loyalty, enhancement of services).
- Communication & Environment: Collaborate with other departments for an optimal customer stay and ensure compliance with the establishment's environmental commitments.
- Occasional Replacement: Provide replacement for the night receptionist in case of absence.
Profile sought
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Strong managerial and organizational skills.
- Excellent complaint management skills.
- Fluent English required; a second foreign language is a plus.
- Proficient with computer tools, knowledge of OPERA CLOUD and BIZZON is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Team spirit, initiative, and autonomy.
- Neat and professional appearance.

- Salary starting from €2,300 gross/month + food compensatory allowances around €180 gross (variable depending on days worked)
- 13th month salary after 1 year of seniority
