About the job
The FSCMA is a nationally specialized center that offers independent advice to people with disabilities and their families. We provide competent support for the purchase of aids and equipment and accompany people on their path to as independent a life as possible. In addition, we prepare technical reports for social insurance and manage the aids in the disability insurance warehouse.
For our FSCMA team in Quartino, we are looking for a mechanic 80 - 100% for a date to be agreed upon
The activity includes
- Maintenance and overhaul of auxiliary devices (e.g. manual and electric wheelchairs, care beds, bicycles, etc.)
- Carrying out repairs, adaptations and deliveries of auxiliary devices in the workshop or at the customer's premises
- Warehouse management, including ordering spare parts and shipments
Required qualifications
- Completed professional training in mechanics, electronics or related field
- Strong social sensitivity and/or experience with people with disabilities
- Good technical skills and practical abilities
- Category B driving license
- Oral knowledge of at least one other national language desirable
- Residence in Switzerland
