Information about the position

As a Production Engineering Specialist in the Product and Process Engineering area, you drive improvements in production.

You report to the Head of Production Engineering. Your focus is on

optimizing the equipment, assembly methods, and processes of the production organization to minimize working time in accordance with business requirements and strategies regarding quality, efficiency, cost, and safety.

You have the opportunity to play an active role in transforming the site and can demonstrate your change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementing, and further developing manufacturing workflows, production processes, and resources for optimal production and testing of assemblies and devices

• Designing, procuring, and realizing equipment for devices including coordination of internal and external partners

• Product responsibility for a product line concerning all production engineering-related tasks (site-wide)

• Participation in the industrialization of products from the product idea to series production

Your background

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, or comparable qualification, e.g., through solid practical experience

• Several years of professional experience in the industrial production environment, ideally in the above-mentioned area of responsibility

• Professional training or further education in the relevant field is desirable

• Ability for conceptual thinking and "think out of the box"

• Affinity for IT and data processing processes

• Passion for optimization and change as well as a pronounced can-do mentality

• Very good German and good English skills in the technical field
