Technical and Sales Assistant - Energy and Emergency Power Systems

Your role – versatile, technical, central to our success
As the technical assistant to the sales team, you support our sales engineers and act as the hub between sales, technology, suppliers, and marketing. You combine technical competence with organizational talent and contribute significantly to ensuring that our customers receive precise, professional, and convincing offers.
Your tasks
Technical & administrative sales support
- Support of the sales manager and the entire sales team in the field of power generation with diesel and gas engines from Caterpillar and other suppliers
- Development of technical basics and documentation for offer preparation
- Participation in updating and maintaining internal price lists in the offer tool
Offers & supplier management
- Obtaining quotes from our suppliers
- Participation in the creation of customer-specific offers
- Independent creation and processing of standard offers including clarification of requirements with the customer
Data & process management
- Support and maintenance of the Avesco order pipeline, inventory lists, and CAT orders
- Maintenance of price lists
- Tracking of customer and inventory orders
Communication, marketing & team organization
- Support in marketing activities such as trade fairs, events, web projects, and job reports
- Regular creation and posting of content on our social media channels
- Organization of internal sales meetings including minute-taking
What you bring with you
- Completed basic technical training (electrical engineering, mechanics, or similar)
- Good commercial understanding as well as confident handling of technical documents, specifications, and offers
- Experience in the field of energy, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering is an advantage
- Enjoyment of structured, precise work and technical documentation
- Strong communication skills, customer-oriented thinking, and ability to work in a team
- Very good IT skills, ideally experience with offer tools and CRM systems
- Independent working style and motivation to take responsibility
- Good German and English skills, French or Italian is an advantage
