Social Worker 80 - 100 % for the areas of material assistance and civil law measures
Within the city administration, the Social Services Department fulfills the role of a contact point for people in personal, family, or financial difficulties. Together with all those affected, interdisciplinary bridging and lasting solutions are found.
Your main tasks
- Management of mandates according to the assignment of the KESB with a focus on adult protection
- Preparation of accountability and final reports, statements, and applications to the KESB
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with authorities and institutions
- Clarifications and report preparation on behalf of the KESB
- Clarification of claims and provision of social assistance benefits
- Support, advice, and personal care of clients in statutory social assistance and of those seeking advice using contemporary methods of social work
Your strengths
- Recognized training in social work with a diploma FH or BSc
- Professional experience in the field of statutory social assistance is an advantage
- Interest and skills in advising people from different age groups and cultures
- Decisiveness and assertiveness
- Enjoyment of teamwork with authorities and institutions
- Common sense and support for the area strategy "tough but fair"
- ICT skills, e.g., Office knowledge at least ECDL Base level
- Commercial basic training is an advantage
- CAS management of mandates is an advantage
