To strengthen our diverse UX team, we are looking for reinforcement at our Bern location. You will work closely with various professionals in our agile project teams and with our clients.
Your tasks
- You design and shape a positive, consistent UX strategy for sophisticated digital products and services of our clients and advise them across various business areas with the goal of a user-centered and measurably better customer experience
- You take responsibility for selecting and implementing HCD and service design methods and work closely with the agile development team
- You define design guidelines and map them in design systems
- You independently plan and conduct in-depth user research activities such as interviews, contextual inquiries, and card sorting, and derive well-founded insights
- You collect and analyze user needs and customer requirements to model optimal user journeys and customer experience using methods such as service blueprints, stakeholder interviews, and customer journey maps
- You develop and establish design guidelines, information architectures, as well as wireframes, conceptual and visual design of interfaces (web and mobile applications) and evaluate them with end users through prototyping and usability tests

Your profile
- Completed studies (ETH, university, university of applied sciences) with a focus on UX, design, computer science, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in the UX field as well as solid knowledge of UX and service design methods along the entire user-centered design process
- Very good knowledge of Figma, especially in building variable- or token-based design systems in conjunction with UI libraries
- Strong focus on accessibility and practical experience with WCAG 2.0 or newer
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Fluent in German (native or C2 and passive knowledge of Swiss German) spoken and written as well as English (at least B2)
- Requirements for a personal security clearance by PSP VBS
