Reading traces, recognizing connections, making truth visible: In forensic science, you secure and analyze crime-relevant traces, compare trace images, and create well-founded reports. We make a decisive contribution to solving crimes and take responsibility in major events and identifications.
Your tasks
- Recording, processing, and managing traces using IT systems
- Activities in the field of forensic trace evaluation
- Examination and evaluation of trace material
- Maintenance of comparison collections and trace files
- Close cooperation with internal and external police departments as well as participation in national shoe print conferences
Your profile
- Completed vocational training
- Structured and analytical way of working
- High personal responsibility, teamwork skills, and resilience
- Interest in forensic issues and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Confident handling of IT applications
- Good knowledge of German, French is an advantage
- 50% ideally in the afternoons or Wednesday afternoon / Thursday and Friday full day
