Tasks & Responsibilities

• Management, maintenance, and upkeep of the tool inventory for use in the power plant facility.
• Ensuring the availability of tools and operating resources, including their procurement.
• Organization of storage as well as issuance and return and tracking of tools.
• Conducting inspections and calibrations on tools and measuring instruments (including length measuring tools) according to applicable standards.
• Creation and maintenance of documentation, such as maintenance and inspection records.
• Collaboration in the introduction of new tools and technologies in tool management.
• Collaboration/temporary help in mechanical manufacturing.
• Collaboration (possibly responsibility) for special tasks during plant shutdowns.

Profile & Requirements

• Completed technical apprenticeship EFZ (e.g., production mechanic, polymechanic, plant and apparatus builder, or comparable training).
• Experience in tool management or a comparable area is an advantage.
• Technical understanding and affinity for mechanical tools and their possible uses.
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style.
• Willingness to work in the controlled zone, also with a protective mask.
• Flexibility and commitment, especially during plant shutdowns.
• Good MS Office skills; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
