The Forestry Office is looking for a
Your tasks
- Processing projects and data management in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Processing projects in the field of forest biodiversity.
- Deputy tasks in Forestry District 2, e.g. contribution management of silvicultural projects.
Your profile
- Enjoyment of the forest, working in a small team, and the mix of office and field work. Independent working style.
- Broad forestry expertise, preferably a university degree as a forestry engineer ETH or HAFL or a master’s degree in environmental sciences with a focus on forest and landscape management.
- General interest in forestry service issues, special interest in silviculture as well as the practical use of geoinformation from field data collection, data processing to map creation.
- Familiar with common GIS programs such as QGIS or ArcGIS. Flair for IT and technical devices.
