The social service of the Murten Region (municipalities of Greng, Meyriez, and Murten) is committed to the social and professional integration of social assistance beneficiaries and is available to residents in case of problematic social situations. We are looking for a
Social Worker / Social Assistant 70% starting on November 1, 2025, or by agreement.
Your tasks
You advise, accompany, and support individuals and families in difficult life situations. In this process, you adopt a goal-oriented approach focused on existing resources.
You clarify the needs for material assistance, assert the subsidiary benefits, and organize the aid to which beneficiaries are entitled.
You also carry out all related administrative tasks.
You maintain contacts with other services and organizations.
You are committed to the development and optimization of the service.
Your profile
You hold a Bachelor's degree in social work (or an equivalent qualification), you are committed, flexible, and already have professional experience.
You are interested in contributing to improving the living conditions of individuals seeking advice and can manage divergent requests.
You enjoy investing your professional knowledge and communication skills in the interest of beneficiaries and the service.
Preferably, you already have experience in social assistance.
You have good knowledge of German (oral and written required).
