Portrait of the School/Institution
School Herzogenbuchsee – Kindergarten and Primary School in the heart of Oberaargau: Centrally located on the main traffic axis between Bern and Olten, School Herzogenbuchsee offers children from the municipalities of Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz comprehensive education from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 730 students are accompanied by a dedicated and versatile team of teachers at five school and five kindergarten locations. In addition to regular lessons, the school also coordinates special education in speech therapy and psychomotor skills for the surrounding schools in the region. We work with the New Authority to develop a respectful and clear attitude in dealing with students. Presence, relationships, and joint action are at the center instead of power and punishment.

Tasks
You will take on a part-time position in a 5th/6th grade class alongside a very committed class teacher at our Oenz location. The workload includes 12 lessons with the subjects French, movement and sports, ttG (technical), half-class teaching (German and mathematics), and team teaching. The workload can possibly be extended by up to 15 lessons in a parallel class.
Requirements
- You have training as a Cycle 2 teacher or are completing it
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate on equal footing with teachers and parents
