Administrative Clerk 50%The Veterinary Office of the Canton of Zurich is committed to animal welfare and animal health. It contributes to ensuring the well-being of animals and the quality of animal products.
To strengthen our team "Office for Animal Health and Animal Welfare," we are looking for a team-oriented and communicative personality as an administrative clerk in the area of animal epidemic legislation starting June 1, 2026.
Tasks
You will mainly support the team in the area of animal epidemic legislation. You are responsible for the coordination office for the farm register and maintain regular contact with agricultural businesses and hobby animal keepers. This includes the registration and changes of all livestock holdings in the Canton of Zurich and the associated administrative tasks. Additionally, you will support the team in the complex licensing system and in daily business (counter, archive, telephone service).
Requirements
You have a commercial or comparable education, several years of professional experience, and a quick grasp of the broad range of tasks. You are flexible, empathetic, and resilient. You complete your tasks independently, accurately, and efficiently. Preferably, you are already familiar with agricultural businesses.
