Senior Buyer Only Online (m/f/d)

Your new tasks

  • Interface function within Category Management to coordinate and implement overarching supplementary and additional assortments in a pure online listing.

  • Independent management of overarching online assortment listings of individual suppliers with a focus on dropshipping.

  • Planning, development, and procurement of innovative, market- and profit-oriented assortments in close cooperation with the supervisor.

  • Purchasing activities domestically and abroad (supplier visits, trade fairs, GIGA/XXXL committees).

  • Realizing commercial targets regarding sales, margin, and goals for assortment breadth and depth.

  • Central control of assortments.

  • Market observation.

  • Administrative management of product groups using SAP/R3.

  • Leadership and development of several Category Management assistants.


What you bring with you

  • Business administration studies or similar education/training in purchasing or marketing.

  • Retail professional experience in Category Management/purchasing, online experience is an advantage.

  • Strong negotiation skills and assertiveness.

  • Willingness to travel.

  • Leadership experience as well as good knowledge of English.

  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft system environments is an advantage.
