Your Tasks

As a Solution Architect, you take responsibility for the following areas related to our Wüest Dimensions platform:

• Requirements Analysis & Architecture Design: Understanding, analyzing, and translating complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality, secure, and innovative technical solutions.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Defining target architectures and ensuring seamless integration across systems, platforms, and business processes – in line with corporate goals.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Close cooperation with product owners, product managers, and development teams to refine requirements and ensure architectural alignment while promoting a culture of knowledge and experience sharing between teams.
• Technical Leadership: Providing architectural guidelines and best practices, evaluating new technologies, and acting as a trusted contact for both business and technical teams.
• Quality & Governance: Ensuring compliance with architectural standards, security policies, and long-term maintainability. Ongoing architectural maintenance to preserve overall consistency as well as continuous optimization regarding performance and scalability.

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Completed university degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a comparable field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development and/or IT architecture, ideally with proven experience in enterprise Java environments
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing containerized and cloud-based solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Azure)
• Solid knowledge of integration patterns, APIs (REST, GraphQL), and modern application frameworks (Java/Spring, React/Angular)
• Experience working with agile methods, especially Scrum
• Highly structured, solution-oriented, and analytical working style with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English and German skills, both spoken and written
