Team Lead Meeting & Business Events (100%)

We are looking for a Team Lead for the Travel, Meeting & Business Events department (100%) with solid experience in team leadership and coordination. This position covers a wide range of event management tasks with the mission to support the company’s strategic goals and strengthen EY’s positioning.

Your main tasks:

The position includes versatile tasks, including participation in various projects as well as reliable handling of recurring tasks such as:

• Active leadership and management of internal strategic meeting & event projects
• Leading and coordinating a cross-location team
• Inspiring the team to achieve common goals
• Assigning tasks and responsibilities to maximize team performance
• Ensuring open and effective communication
• Creating and monitoring schedules and milestones to ensure smooth project flow
• Responsibility for pragmatic solution approaches to ensure customer satisfaction
• Defining and adhering to quality standards as well as ensuring timely deadlines by the team
• Regular coordination with stakeholders to optimize quality
• Preparing reports/presentations for relevant departments on the progress and results of team projects
• Developing, presenting, and independently following up on new event concepts within the team

What we are looking for:

Education and experience:

• Completed studies in event management, marketing, business administration, or comparable qualification
• Several years of leadership experience and proven success in event and project management

Professional and personal skills:

• Strong leadership and team skills
• Solid knowledge in event and project management
• Strategic thinking with a strong sense of the big picture
• Experience in budget management and cost control
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• High communication skills combined with strong customer orientation and consulting competence
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills as well as strong persuasiveness
• Analytical skills to improve processes and service portfolio
• Resilience, high flexibility, and ability to work under pressure, even in stressful situations
• Creativity and innovation capability
• Intercultural competence in collaboration with international teams
• Confident handling of event management software
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluent in German and English, preferably also French skills
