The Department of Women, Children and Adolescents is tasked with providing quality care tailored to the needs of women at every stage of their lives and addressing the health issues faced by newborns, children, and adolescents from birth up to 16 years old. It works on developing cutting-edge services and specialty competence centers.
The Gynecology Service includes many specializations: The Gynecological Oncology, Perineology, and Reproductive Medicine and Gynecological Endocrinology Units, as well as consultations related to the ovary or endometriosis, are part of the gynecology field. The service also includes a Breast Center, providing comprehensive management of breast pathologies, from prevention to diagnosis, through to medical and surgical treatments, in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, the orthogeny activity offers specific and personalized support to patients in the context of voluntary pregnancy termination and sexual and reproductive health, respecting choices, confidentiality, and the current regulatory framework.
The surgical and medical gynecology care unit provides care for patients both inpatient and outpatient.
The service welcomes patients for surgical and outpatient care related to major gynecological pathologies, including gynecological oncology, breast pathologies, pelvic pathologies, as well as activities linked to orthogeny.
Care is provided within a coordinated, multidisciplinary pathway focused on quality, safety, and patient support.
Job Description
As a care and support assistant, you participate in patient care by providing hygiene and comfort care, as well as medical-technical acts within your competencies. Thanks to your interpersonal skills, you support patients in sometimes anxiety-inducing contexts by establishing a relationship of trust and kindness. You fully integrate into a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating adaptability, organization, and responsiveness to unforeseen events and workload variations.
You communicate all necessary information for patient care and assist them in their daily activities. Your empathy and interpersonal skills allow you to position yourself as a full care partner. Moreover, thanks to your team spirit, you know how to work collaboratively but also autonomously.
You perform tasks related to the patient's immediate environment and contribute to their safety by respecting hygiene and asepsis rules in force.
Dynamic and attentive, you are a motivated person ready to invest yourself in an institution whose relational values you share, namely trust, respect, team spirit, inclusion, and recognition.
You work with computer applications, notably DPI, and manage stocks.
Qualifications
You hold a nursing assistant certificate or a federal professional training certificate (AFP) as a care and support assistant (ASA).
You have perfect command of French, both spoken and written.
