The Office for Youth and Career Counseling is part of the Education Directorate and is responsible for child and youth welfare, career counseling, and alimony assistance. It provides various counseling and support services decentrally at several locations in the canton of Zurich. Are you interested in topics related to child welfare and child protection and motivated to take care of the complex concerns of our clients?
To strengthen the legal service of the office of the districts of Bülach and Dielsdorf, we are looking for you as of January 1, 2026, or by agreement as
Lawyer 80-90%
(preferably with a lawyer's patent)
You independently handle child protection law mandates in the area of paternity and maintenance regulation and paternity challenges. You also represent children and adolescents as victims in criminal proceedings or in other conflicts of interest involving their parents. Additionally, you provide legal support and coaching to the various internal departments and management.
You have completed legal training, preferably with a Swiss lawyer's patent. You have professional experience and court practice, ideally in child protection and family law, and are familiar with private law as well as public law. A confident manner in written and personal contact, understanding of the problems of children, adolescents, and their families, as well as high social competence and resilience are also required. Are you a team player and used to working independently, precisely, and responsibly?
