With nearly 1,400 employees, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics is a medical center focused on the elderly, spread over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont. It manages acute situations, notably through the emergency services at the Trois-Chêne hospital, age-related specific issues, medical rehabilitation, and palliative care.
The Memory Center is located in Cluse-Roseraie and addresses the multiple challenges posed by memory disorders. It offers a cognitive disorder screening approach, a prevention program, diagnosis based on state-of-the-art techniques, multidisciplinary care, and individualized and innovative therapies. Patients can participate in research projects and test new medications.
Job Description
The Memory Center is recruiting an administrative clerk to participate in the implementation of a dementia and Alzheimer’s disease prevention program.
This project is funded by the Department of Health and Mobility (DSM) as part of their health promotion and prevention program.
The main objectives of this program are:
To enroll, over a period of about two years, 500 patients without cognitive impairment but with a potentially high risk of developing dementia (secondary prevention).
To determine the proportion of the population with a risk level requiring intervention.
To measure the impact of interventions on patient health.
Within this program, you will be responsible for contacting participants and following up on care requests for the risk reduction part of the program (intervention).
You will maintain the database and collaborate on adapting protocols.
You will provide administrative support in creating necessary documents for the program in compliance with protocols and procedures.
You will collaborate on patient invoice follow-up in cooperation with the Center’s financial referent.
You will participate in weekly team meetings and plenary sessions of the Center, as well as in conferences and seminars organized by the Center and the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics.
Qualifications
You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) and have initial experience in the clinical and/or experimental field.
Good proficiency in Excel and common office tools is required.
You have excellent command of French (level C1); a B2 level in English is an asset.
You are recognized for your organizational skills and autonomy. Flexible, you can quickly adapt to new work situations, identify priorities, and meet deadlines, while demonstrating rigor in task execution.
