Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Senior Scientist who is innovative and agile to join us in our Immune Reset department based in Slough UK (Windlesham from 2027).
About the role
In this laboratory-based position, you will add value to our research pipeline through the generation of high-quality translational assay data and analysis of complex datasets to progress our pre-clinical programmes, increase our understanding of disease pathobiology and contribute to the identification of new targets.
Who you’ll work with
Reporting to the Principal Scientist Immunology Translational Biology.
What you’ll do
- Develop, run and analyse novel in vitro translational assays to model disease mechanisms.
- Generate impactful translational data to deepen our understanding of candidate molecule mechanism of action.
- Interrogate omic datasets to generate insights into patient (sub-) populations and aid identification of new targets.
Interested? For this role you’ll need the following education, experience and skills
- PhD level scientist with several years post-doc experience.
- Immunologist with experience in developing translational models.
- Expertise in a broad range laboratory techniques including primary cell (co-)cultures, multi-colour flow cytometry and multiplex analyses.
- Knowledge of programming languages such a R or Python are desireable.
- Ability to analyse complex datasets, building customised solutions as necessary.
- Innovative mindset with a drive to lead from the lab.
- Focused on timely delivery of data to meet project needs.
- Pro-active and solution oriented.
