About the job
You navigate confidently in the news flow, enjoy writing as well as precise editing – and bring the experience to sharpen texts at a high linguistic level.
- You keep an eye on the news situation, follow current events, research and write your own stories
- You edit texts in the team and ensure that they meet high quality standards linguistically, stylistically and content-wise
- You are a sparring partner for the CvD and the daily management and want to support the younger team members with your experience
- You move confidently in the areas of news, sports and entertainment, ensure an attractive story mix and think across platforms (Home/App/Social/TV)
- You convince readers with a clear, precise and gripping writing style
- Completed journalistic training and/or several years of experience in journalism, ideally in online media
- Extensive experience in editing, proofreading and stylistic sharpening of texts
- Enjoy writing strong stories yourself as well as improving texts of others
- As a team player, you proactively share your knowledge and show active willingness to help
- You place great value on structured, independent and quality-conscious work
- Your general knowledge is constantly expanding and your interest in Swiss politics and social issues is great
- High resilience, commitment and flexibility (working hours also early mornings, evenings and weekends)
